Stratego

“You know, Dracula, I really didn’t expect this night to be as fun as it’s been.  In fact, I kind of expected to be murdered.”  Bob stated, enthralled by the game he was watching.

Frank nodded his head in agreement, “I agree, in fact I had no real intention of coming to this thing, but it hasn’t been bad at all.  I mean, I know you did some of your Dracula powers to get us here, but I can honestly say that I would come back without you having to use any of your “voodoo powers.” Continue reading

Fall Free Demo

What started out as a very simple exercise in dumb game-making became a complicated exercise in dumb game-making, and I want to follow this thing through and polish it up a bit better.  But the deadline for this week’s B.C. is here, and I present to you the demo version for “Fall Free.”

Story: You are a green-haired anime ronin with magical head powers falling down a long, seemingly endless hole.  You are being pursued by robot angels and soldiers.

Controls: Left and right move.  Down triggers your head magic, and allows you to smash through the brown wooden boxes.

“True, we’ve become known as the premier comic book company.  True, our movie department has successfully taken off.  I have more money invested in my yacht than most people will see in their lifetimes.  But good times don’t always last gentlemen.  We got the numbers back from our Marketing Research Department and they’re not good.  People are getting sick of super hero movies.  They’re getting sick of super heroes all together!   We’re looking at the abyss gentlemen and we don’t even know it.  It’ll be like the mid 90’s all over again!” Continue reading
